У меня IceWM.
На нетбук, с которым сейчас играюсь, установлена альфа Кентавра-7,
с systemd и Гномом.
Потом доустановлен IceWM и _удалены_ acpid и pm-utils.
В сессию IceWM захожу из gdm.
Бук засыпает и просыпается.
К тому-же Гном здесь ни при чем, т.к. на другом ноуте кроме IceWM
ничего нет, и он тоже спит без acpid.
Думаю, что собака порылась в systemd, но пока это только подозрение.
