Hello sisyphus,
В Сизифе сейчас лежит AfterStep версии 2.0 ис CVSа. Программа все
еще очень сырая, пользоваться ей повседневно затруднительно
(например в новом AS никак не запускается OpenOffice). Однако при
dist-upgrade'ах она запросто замещает собой AfterStep 1.8, если у
кого он собран в пакет и установлен.
Напоролся на этот "сюрприз". Пришлось из заначки брать свой пакет и
переустанавливать его. Может пока перенести AS2.0 в Daedalus или
еще лучше переименовать/пересобрать как-нить так, чтобы он не мешал
старой стабильной версии. Тем более, что свои настройки они хранят в
разных местах. Новый в ~/.afterstep, а старый в ~/GNUstep/....
