Поставил вчера ALD 4.0 (Fujitsu-Siemens Scaleo T, Athlon 64, Nvidia
6600). Все поднялось, кроме ускорения OpenGL, поскольку программа
настройки X11 в альтераторе поставила коммерческий драйвер от Nvidia и
помимо этого поддержку OpenGL от FireGL.
В результате, /etc/X11/lib содержит ссылки на библиотеки от FireGL
вместо Nvidia, а также ссылки на стандартную Mesa. То есть, OpenGL вроде
есть, но очень медленный.
Разбирательство показало, что проблема скорее всего в том, что
/usr/sbin/x11presetdrv запускает все подряд в /usr/libexec/X11/drvpre.d,
скрипт для FireGL отрабатывает раньше, а скрипт для Nvidia видит уже
сделанные ссылки в /etc/X11/lib и отказывается что-либо менять.
Таким образом, реальная проблема в том, что при установке поставился
FireGL при отсутствии карт этого типа на машине.
