А в about:plugins видно, что прописан обработчик torrent-файлов? У меня
оно там не появилось до тех пор, пока не прибил
~/.mozilla/firefox/pluginreg.dat (по памяти, могу ошибиться в имени).
Однако, навскидку мне не попалась ссылка, где бы торрент отдавался с
правильным MIME? так что проверить пока не удалось.
