Похоже я нашел способ это исправить... Только пока сам не понял из за
чего оно так вышло... Последовательность такая:
Переходим на консоль.
логинимся юзером.
$xinit -- :1
в полученном иксовом окне терминала даем команду startkde
кде - грузится.
После этого перелогиниваемся (я перегружал машину по своей надобности) и
получаем работоспособный кдм...
Конечно, все это больше похоже на танец с бубном... Но официальные
каменты услышать все же хотелось бы... :)
