Что мне нравится в Ubuntu и остальном что делает Canonical, так это
совершенно ясные чёткие цели и инструменты для их достижения. И не
только для разработчиков, а в первую очередь для окружающих. Развернули
транспарант "НА ДЕСКТОП!" и широко шагают. И в конкуренты взяли
Microsoft, а не другие дистрибутивы.
ALM и Sisyphus это хорошо -- платформа разработчика и серверная. Для
создания профильных выпусков дистрибутивов (для школы, SOHO, compact и
др.) нужна полностью открытая, а не внутри офисная разработка. Всё это IMHO.
