Здравствуйте ALT Linux Sisyphus Club!
Обновил Мастер 2.4 до вчерашнего Сизифа. Последовательно устраняя
ошибки удалось запустить "покорёженные" Х-ы, но возникли вопросы.
"Железо" - монитор ЖК LG FLATRON L1810B, видео GF4 MMX 440.
1. Нет xorg.conf, а все конфигурации в XF86Config - это нормально?
2. Х-ы запускаются только в такой конфигурации:

Что такое fbdev? Это как-то связано с фреймбуфером и почему? Я делал
обновление без Х-ов (level 3). Можно ли в секции "Generic VGA" поставить
другой драйвер? Например, подстановка "vga" даёт полностью искорёженную
картинку.
3. Если смириться с драйвером fbdev, то где и как можно изменить
разрешение монитора в КДЕ - имеется только одно 1024х786 при 76 Гц.
Изменение параметра "default" в секции выше почему-то не влияет.
Нормальное разрешение для моего монитора 1280х1024 при 75 Гц.
