Доброго всем времени суток!
На одном серверке под сизифом на днях обнаружил, что полезли read error
на hdd
Подкинул подобный по геометрии/объему ide в качестве hdc, создал 1:1
таблицу разделов fdisk-ом (правда, второй винт чуть больше, поэтому
/home у меня (в конце диска) - чуть больше получился, ну это не важно),
скопировал /boot, / , /var , /var/ftp, /var/www на новый диск (что - с
помощью cp -ar, что - с помощью dd conv=noerror (разделы с бэдами)). ФС
- везде одинаковая (reiser 3.6) Почекал, подремонтровал, проверил - все
ок.. Осталось grub загнать на /dev/hdc - не загоняется, @ ... Гружусь с
пока еще живого /dev/hda, пробую grub-install /dev/hdc - пишет что-то
про " does not have corresponding BIOS entry" (дословно не помню)...
grub-install hd1 - тоже не помогает... info grub - мутное жутко... И
"неконкретное" ни разу...
