Попробуйте smb4k для сравнения. Если там всё так же, как и в
LinNeighborhood - будем копать ;-)
А вообще, у современных DE есть тенденция смотреть SMB/CIFS-ресурсы
через собственные gnome-vfs2/kio (за первый не скажу, а во втором
понадобится установить kdebase-kio-samba, чтобы konq смог обрабатывать
URI вида smb://<имя_рабочей_группы_или_хоста>/). Вот только части
приложений эти изыски gnome-vfs2/kio до лампочки, потому сбрасывать со
счетов smb4k не время :-)
