Тут буквально на днях снова очнулся от спячки проект mc-mp, выпущен
релиз pre9. И я решил всё-таки собрать этот альтернативный MC для Daedalus.
Эта сборка mc-mp осуществлена таким образом, чтобы допустить совместное
использование обычного mc и mc-mp. Настройки хранятся в ~/.mc-mp , у
бинарников добавлен суффикс '-mp'. Но за это удобство пришлось заплатить
руссификацией интерфейса (mc-mp упорно хочет читать mc.mo, вместо mc-mp.mo).
Если чёрные панельки mc-mp не устраивают, при запуске надо использовать
ключ -Y, что вернёт привычную голубизну ;)
Кроме различных фиксов и фич, этот mc научился выжигать диски (отсюда и
зависимости на cdrecord). Но я, честно говоря, эту фичу не проверял.
Частично решилась проблема с заглядыванием внутрь rpm пакетов под
смертным пользователем (cpio по прежнему работает не очень, но
заполучить файлы можно).
