Возможно, это и есть источник неприятностей. У нас была куча
неприятностей с чипсетами nForce, и в конце концов решили их в
linux-машины не ставить. (причём на Athlon64 на nForce у машин просто
отрубается периферия через 10 минут работы -- клава, крыса). Танцы с
бубнами позволили лишь увеличить время жизни системы, но предотвратить
глюки совсем не получилось :(
Сейчас копаем в этом направлении, если будет результат -- сразу напишу.
