При установке vmware предложила пересобрать модуль под мое ядро. После
чего ругнулась, мол верся gcc для ядра и та, которая у меня - разные.
Это я исправил путем установки gcc-2.96 и установкой переменной CC.
Но теперь оно хочет заголовки ядра.
Я установил пакет kernel-headers-std-up. Но и после этого vmware
ругалась, что нет каталога asm. Там я нашел asm-i386 и создал для него
симлинк asm. Однако и после этого vmware бастует:
The path "/usr/src/linux/include" is a kernel header file directory, but
it does
not contain the file "linux/version.h" as expected. This can happen if the
kernel has never been built, or if you have invoked the "make mrproper"
command
in your kernel directory. In any case, you may want to rebuild your kernel.
Что теперь делать? Может где-то есть собранные модули или инструкция?
