Стояла у меня vmware-4460, работала себе под 2.24.21-rel3, да в
один момент скала - expired. Я сначала не понял, лицензии мучал,
а оказалось, что это она сама. Ну да ладно, выкачал 5289,
поставил, и тут началось слайд-шоу. Ядро в это время уже было
2.24.21-rel6. Думал, что дело в 6-м релизе, ан нет - на
2.4.20-alt7 всё прекрасно работает. На 2.4.21 дело за почти сутки
дошло лишь до первой графической заставки с загрузкой процессора
на 99.9%.
Это как-нибудь лечится, или в сизифе последнее ядро, с которым
можно работать 2.4.20-alt7?
