Народ! А вы за процессом установки наблюдали или как? У меня на 2 машинах rpm
совершенно честно и однозначно признался, что не может обновить lilo.conf и, опять
же, совершенно однозначно намекнул на необходимость ручной операции, которая была
тут же проделана и заключалась в правке подвисших ссылок в /boot. Перезагрузка
прошла вполне успешно и комп всю ночь добросовестно трудился.
(Есть подозрение -- не проверял, что собака зарыта в названии ядра, точнее в
дополнительном "-stable")
