Ой странно! Ни разу не видел.
А Вы не могли нечаянно просто по ошибке скопировать /var и /etc
?? Такое бывает... я помнится в свое время с большого устатку
/proc бэкапить пытался :-))
Да! А каковы права на содержимое этого /var и какие времена
файлов и каталогов?
