Hi!
К сожалению, обнаружил неприятную ошибку в сборке для Linux: в архиве
ru-unix.jar пропущен один файл.
Файл этот, а также исправленый xpi выложены на
ftp://ftp.altlinux.ru/pub/distributions/ALTLinux/Mozilla/0.9.8/ALT_RC1/
Там же файл README.fixes, который я привожу здесь:

Уважаемые коллеги!
В файле русского перевода для Linux: ru-unix.jar, пропущен один файл.
Исправленная версия xpi : langruru-098-ALT_RC1.fix.xpi выложена.
Можно также заменить файл <MOZILLA_HOME>/chrome/ru-unix.jar на
находящийся в этом каталоге.
Приносим извинения.
