По адресу ftp://beta.altlinux.org/centaurus/ и на
https://torrent.altlinux.ru/ доступна новая бета-версия ALT Linux
Centaurus.
Основные изменения:
* mate 1.6
* приложениния, использующие gtk3 и qt4 исопользуют визуально ту же
тему, что и gtk2
* в установку рабочей станции по умолчанию добавлены vlc (а то не было
ни единого медиаплеера), alterator-{x11,xkb}
* По умолчанию для рабочей станции не устанавливается пакет
settime-rfc867
* ядро 3.8.7-alt2, что должно исправить установку на UEFI (и поломать
её на некоторых устройствах samsung)
* множество пересобранных пакетов, которые, по идее, должны были
не ухудшиться от этого, но это следует проверить
Известные проблемы:
* по прежнему не работает live с сохранением данных
