Я на wayland даже смотреть не планирую до выхода первого релиза Fedora с
ним. А ставить не раньше чем через год после такового -- зачем делать из
себя подопытного кролика для не слишком умных больных NIH-синдромом людей?
Кому надо работать, те используют древние icewm, fvwm, windowmaker, или
какие-либо tiling wm. Кому нужны красивые понты (которые усложняют работу
пользователей, но улучшают продажи из-за тех, кто ведется на красивые
окошки) -- те бегают за новомодными изобретениями.
К сожалению новомодных изобретений где "красивость" делалась бы ради
увеличения юзабилити, а не ценой потери юзабилити сейчас что-то не видно.
Проблем мне как пользователю wayland создаст -- много. Не решит ни одной.
