Что не удивительно :-)
Видимо, причиной их появления были одноименные (битые) ссылки на
эти файлы в /etc/X11/lib_nvidia, кторые, вероятно, образовались в
результате одного из многочисленных обновлений nvidia_glx_common (системе
более трех лет, хотя ссылки были датированы 22 марта с.г.).
Если вынести эти ( кстати unowned ) ссылки, то ситуация действительно не
воспроизводится.
Вообщем то началось все именно из-за наличия этих битых ссылок.
Увидел, переустановил nvidi-ю, получил эффект (ссылки стали не битые...).
Сейчас вынес все "unowned files" и забыл за ситуацию :-)
