Видел два вида отваливания - при одном, более мягком, работали
клавишосочетания вроде ctrl-alt-f1 и переключение клавиатуры (индикатор
менялся в трее), но ввода ни в одном окне не было. Вылечилось запуском xev'а
(в консоли мышью по буковке, гы) и после закрытия его всё заработало.
Еще разик отвалилась более серьёзно - уже никакие сочетания не работали
(SysRQ* не проверял). xev не помогал, зато помогло подцепить на 5 секунд еще
одну клавиатуру.
