Нашел в Makefile
Но там же нашел $datadir, который по дефолту смотрит в $prefix/share,
задал в спек параметр для configure, а он его проигнорировал, точнее, вот
что получил в configure.log:
 $ ./configure --build=i586-alt-linux --host=i586-alt-linux --prefix=/usr
 --exec-prefix=/usr --bindir=/usr
 /bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --sysconfdir=/etc --datadir=/usr/share
 --includedir=/usr/include --libdir=/usr/lib
  --libexecdir=/usr/lib --localstatedir=/var/lib --sharedstatedir=/usr/com
  --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir
  =/usr/share/info --disable-dependency-tracking
  --without-included-gettext --with-configfile=/etc/sams.conf
  --with-rcd-locations=/etc/rc.d/init.d --datadir=/var/www/html
  --with-httpd-locations=/var/www/html

т.е., datadir определился дважды и принял первое встреченно значение.
Как такое объезжается?
