Я сделал просто: удалил /etc/bluetooth, переустановил bluez (дефолтные
конфиги), поменял security на auto и связь с телефоном заработала в обе
стороны. Раскомментировал всё в rfcomm.cfg ( или как там его), поменял device
на реально телефонный, bind yes,
в hcid.conf
# class 0x3e0104;
class 0x520104;
Заработал модем. Доволен жизнью (недоволен ОПСОС'ами за дороговизну).
Есть нюанс -- часто имя телефону дают рускими буквами. Телефоны друг друга
нормально воспринимают, kbtobexclient выводит UTF кракозябры (у меня koi8).
Видимо это не лечится :-(
