возможно, инженеры из ATI просто забыли про чипсет от SiS :) У меня этот
баг воспрозводился на i850E и не воспроизводится на SB600. А вообще, hard
lockup после переключения в консоль - это беда многих проприетарных дров,
так что с ней ничего поделать нельзя.
PS Насчет ati - попробуйте драйвер radeon и Option "DynamicClocks"
"true".
