Да нет, включать/выключать wlan я-то как раз могу, нет ничего проще:
echo 1 > /sys/class/net/eth0/device/power
echo 0 > /sys/class/net/eth0/device/power
Речь о другом: не полуается _поймать нажатие_ этой кнопки.
