Hi!
В i/S залиты новые версии ядер серий vs26 и wks26. На что прошу обратить
внимание в первую очередь:
для vs26-smp:
- приложен последний stable патч для 2.6.16 (2.0.2-rc15), -rc16 - это
просто resync с 2.6.16.5
- собрано с altsec и exec-shield. Что такое exec-shield и чем оно нам
грозит, читаем в статье http://people.redhat.com/drepper/nonselsec.pdf
для wks26:
- собрано с последними патчами от Con Kolivas (-ck3, следующие версии -
просто resync с 2.6.16.x ядрами)
- собрано со включенными readahead и swap_prefetch (теперь он работает
достаточно стабильно, за 2 недели проверки крэшей не было). О механизме
readahead и чего там можно крутить см. Documentation/sysctl/vm.txt
- собрано с последней стабильной версией reiser4 (тестировалось kas@ и
seriv@, впечатление спрашивать у них)
- собрано с поледней версией swsusp2 (2.2.4). Для smp x86_64 он не
работает, поэтому отключен. Баги в работе вешать на yust@, компонент
kernel-feat-swsusp
- обновлен код badmem, теперь он поддерживает x86_64
PS Также напоминаю, что wks26 ядро больше не предназначено для
использования с realtime и soft-realtime приложениями, для них нужны ядра
типа ll26 или rt26.
