Есть. Просто не хотелось-бы, использовать именно их. А очень хочется именно
скриптах определять тип сесси, и принимать решение о совместимости оконного
мэтеджера (ОМ). Например docapp'ы поддерживаются в WindowMaker и fluxbox,
blackbox - но icewm , kde, gmone, ede их не понимают, поэтому хочется
городить миниум настроек в этих скриптах.
