Пишу в попыхах, ставил последний компакт - ощущения
следующие:
1) у мышки мания величия - (мышка самая обычная Genius )

для работы колеса понадобилось :
- Option "Buttons" "7"
*Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
2) неплохо бы вариант раскладки в инсталлер:
+Option "XkbOptions" "grp:lwin_toggle,grp_led:scroll"
3) service pptptunnel запускается до hotplug, но после
network, видимо отсюда остановка... помогает только дуля из
трёх... клавиш. После старта системы - pptptunnel
запускается.
4) Флешку смонтировал... кракозябли, поставил локаль KOI-8 -
по русски, но отмонтировать пользователю не даёт... В какую
"партию" надо вступить, чтобы размонтировалось? ... ... Оп,
оно только для чтения монтирует.
5) Шрифты Terminus - уж очень хороши - для терминала...
хорошо-бы в набор по умолчанию.
6) цветовая гамма...
Остальное вроде уже видел в рассылке.
