На автомате страшно. Т.е. мигратор с использованием convmv было
бы сделать очень хорошо, но опять же без использования ключика,
который собственно _запускает_ переименование.

LC_ALL=ru_RU.$remote_charset xterm -e ssh $remote_host
PS: а вот если бы кое-кто думал о таких банальных последствиях
UTF-8 по умолчанию, то сперва бы соломки в виде запуска xterm
в восьмибитных локалях из меню подстелил... => #7447
