Для dri нужна не память, а интерфейс к agp, нужный об'ём
откусывается выделяется во время работы из физической памяти.
Предоставляется он например модулем agpgart в комбинации с
модулем чипсета (intel-agp?) и модулем самой видюхи (i915).
Второй модуль идёт в пакете kernel-modules-drm.

По своим пакетам (bind, postfix) я не позволял себе такой роскоши как две
версии в дистрибутиве. В плане поддержки обновлений это добавляет массу
головной боли, и ничего не даёт взамен.
