на пальцах получается следующее:
во-первых - скрипт из пакета hardware на данный момент может создавать
xorg.conf и запускать setgl. для работы требует alterator-backend-x11, libhw,
libhw-tools, ddcprobe - на мой взгляд это слишком жирно да и совершенно
ненужно для nvidia_glx_common.
во-вторых hardware предназначался для livecd и иметь его в своей системе я его
бы не хотел
