"Корку" можно заставить сделать, только если он падает по 11 сигналу,
то есть SIGSEGV. В других случаях корку делать бессмысленно (backtrace
ничего интересного не скажет).
Как сделать корку -- я же вам написал. Нужно убедиться, что корка будет
сделана, по двум параметрам: RLIMIT_CORE и права доступа на текущий для
демона каталог. Если эти параметры позволяют, то корка будет
"автоматически" сделана ядром.
