А, кнопка power(ACPI) не доступна?
Это на моих удаленных серверах есть физический доступ к серверу
непродвинутым пользователям, которые научены выключать кнопкой POWER.
Более сложные манипуляции я им не доверяю.
Сам SSH из Линукса или путиным из виндоуса все делаю.
