Согласен. Токмо дай господи сил с одним разобраться.

Как выяснилось оччень не хватает Firebird-client :-)
CS или SS вроде определяется еще на этапе configure, так что или
дважды собирать (а собирается он довгенько) или править
исходники (в части касающейся управления сборкой). Последнее
(ИМХО) задача весьма далекая от тривиальной, да и править
исходники стабильного релиза "от разработчика" тоже как-то не
очень.
Если толково сформулировать - чего изволим желать, то можно и
разработчиков попросить учесть АЛьт специфику сборки пакетов.
Там земляки к "гласу Русского Народа" прислушиваются :-).
