Наконец после долгого ожидания получил по почте диск с Compact.
Как всегда для столь сложного продукта не обошлось без ложки дегтя в огромной
бочке меда. На этот раз таких ложек обнаружено всего три.
1. При установке был сконфигурирован принтер, но после первого запуска -
обнаружен принтер и все сокнфигурировалось по новой. Не смертельно, но два
раза выполнять одну работу...
2. Мертвые висы при загрузке и выходе из Х. Ставилось все по умолчанию. После
перевода процесса загрузки в нормальный текстовый режим все заработало.
Карточка - стандартнее не бывает, ATI Rage 128. И раньше такого безобразия не
было.
3. Очень не хватает MPlayer. Чем прикажете слушать WMA? Раньше у меня работал
xmms с плагином, использующим mplayer.
В остальном дистрибут очень порадовал (если не читать отсутствия средств
разработки), в том числе подбором программ и исправлением глюков с которми
бодался на Junior 2.2.
