А никаких проблем. Надо просто отдавать клиенту text/vnd.wap.wml.
php, perl (cgi и mod_perl).

Всё работает практически их коробки. Я только менял
/etc/httpd/conf/apache-mime.types на лежащий рядом
apache-mime.types.default, потому как в дистрибутивном не был
прописан то ли этот тип, то ли .wbmp.
