Надо пересобрать ядро и воткнуть туда (build-in, not as module) поддержку для
твоего контроллера. Но это имхо не совсем спасет.
Я когда-то это делал - пытался поставить на IDE-mirror, ничего не получилось
из-за некорректной работы с /dev/ataraid/d*p* в diskDrake.
Я хакнул бутовый диск, заменил там ядрышко с поддержкой PDC20267.
В итоге я использую два диска на доп. IDE как обычные.
Контроллер сможешь увидеть когда скажешь ядру (модулю) по каким портам искать.
В 2.4.21, IADM, ситуация не поменялась.
Hint: Обрати внимание на параметры ядра.
Кстати вроде как уже idebus=100 должно работать.
