А теперь давайте серьёзно -- Вы только что видели эту фичу новых
"иксов" и тут же, не разобравшись, на неё накинулись. Верно?
А Вы советовались с Иваном Паскалем? А с Сергеем Удальцовым?
Если нет - будьте любезны перенести своё неодобрение в offlist с
упомянутыми инициаторами данных перемен в XFree86. И не пытайтесь
заставить нас переписать XFree. Нашим Кейтам Пакардам мы найдём
другое применение -- более актуальное.
И ещё. Это не "наезд". Это взвешенный подход к созданной Вами же
проблеме.
