Как выяснилось, это symlink :) Но в любом случае:
$ ls -al /usr/share/info/dir
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 Ноя 21 22:02 \
/usr/share/info/dir -> ../../../etc/info-dir
$ rpm -qf /usr/share/info/dir
info-install-4.3-alt1
