Обидные слова ваши.
$ rpm -qf /usr/bin/esddsp
esound-utils-0.2.29-alt1
$ rpm -qf /usr/lib/libesdd*
1 из них: esound-0.2.29-alt1
Запуск вручную, без utils: LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libesddsp.so program
А вообще esd небольшой, его и отдельно скачать и откомпилировать можно.
Не знаю, как насчет нескольких компьютеров на 1 esd, но нескольких
пользователей я с ним работать заставил.
Насчет arts ничего сказать не могу, я от этой системы не в восторге.
С esd сейчас единственная проблема - SDL в упор не видит новый esd, и
приходится убивать esd, чтобы поиграть в frozen-bubble. С arts проблем
было больше. По меньшей мере у меня. Да и Windowmaker и Gnome, которым я
симпатизирую значительно больше, чем KDE, не самая подходящая среда для
arts :)
