честно говоря, по моему, неделю разливать сизиф гораздо более неловче, чем за полчаса разлить вручную :)

про distribute? я с ним в свое время не разобрался до конца :)
просто накидал скрипт на питоне, который разливает директорию с rpm-ами на диски-репозитарии.
скрипт, кстати, кидал сюда.
на мой взгляд, distribute создан для несколько других целей. а именно, для создания подписных апдейтов.
А вот разлив целого сизифа лучше бы оптимизировать, к примеру, по зависимостям. Чтобы на одном диске находились взаимосвязанные пакеты.
