Поддержка есть в 2.4.19 (CONFIG_MPENTIUM4=y, CONFIG_SMP=y и наличие
процессора типа Pentium 4 XEON). По словам Алана Кокса для того, чтобы
понять, насколько HyperThreading ваш P4 не-XEON процессор, надо прочитать
cpuid 1 и проверить биты 16-31 регистра ebx. Но все это спекуляции и до
сих пор не доказано, что на не-XEON P4 можно включить HT посредством
каких-то манипуляций с mtrr.
