Я, честно говоря, не знаю, можно ли использовать sasldb для аутентификации
на relayhost :) Я sasldb использую для аутентификации своих клиентов на
своём SMTP.

А клиент (мылер) знает, что надо использовать аутентификацию?
У меня, например, DIGEST-MD5 не заработал.
