Я просто ровно сейчас usenet не использую вообще, посему такие

Принято. Может, еще какой ненорвежский news присоветуете в
качестве "дефолтного публичного"? Сейчас вкручу talk.ru, что ли.
Все равно аутентифицироваться что там, что там...
...btw -- там в реализации maxfetch есть off-by-one:
maxfetch = 100
skipping articles 1-77524 inclusive (article limit)
