Проверьте конфиги (/etc/dictd.conf, /var/lib/dictd/db.list) - скорее
всего, в db.list нет ни одного словаря. Если это так, запустите от рута:
dictdconfig -w
Причина этой ситуации - ошибка в зависимостях пакетов словарей (пропущен
PreReq: dictd), из-за которой пакеты со словарями могут установиться
раньше dictd.
