Настраивать просто:
Ничего в общем скачивать и компилять не надо, т.к. ядра
2.4.18 от ALT прекрасно эту карточку поддерживают.
Ставите пакет pcmcia-cs
В
/etc/sysconfig/pcmcia
PCMCIA=yes
PCIC=yenta_socket
/etc/pcmcia/config.opts
расскоментировать строчку с
module "wvlan_cs" opts "port_type=3 channel=1 station_name=MY_PC"
Параметры, как выбор, канала, шифрование, добавляйте сами в этой
строчке, если надо (с этими тоже будет работать). Ну еще с
режимом, если надо можно сменить. Читайте руководство по
беспроводным сетям и Orinoco.
На 12 консоли пишет какие каналы доступны и какое устройство
занято eth0 etc.
! pcmcia грузиться раньше всех модулей и поэтому будет всегда
цапать eth0, если это не поравить.
Далее стандартно.
Пущаете сервис pcmcia (при загрузке тоже) и настраиваете сеть.
Все!
Сегодня гонял целый день с пассивной антенной - отлично работает
на приличное расстояние ~ 50м сквозь железобетон.
