Честно говоря, не думаю, что смогу поделиться чем-то полезным... FIDO
у нас в городе не предвидится, на модемы только PPP соединения...
У нас тоже portslave-2002-19-01 установлен, нареканий к нему никаких.
На ура работает с двумя мультипортовками и с модемом на COM-порте.
Простой, удобный, с поддержкой RADIUS - не чета всяким mgetty (IMHO).
