Hello, all!
Возникла тут такая необходимость поставить себе J2SDK и Tomcat сервер.
Поискав в Сизифе, я почему-то не нашел ничего похожего. Конечно, я взял и
скачал просто rpm'ки и тарболлы с sun.com и apache.org соответственно, но
возник вопрос, почему же все-таки их нет в Сизифе (нашелся только в obsolete
старый древний jdk), если вроде они достаточно свободны и доступны.
Кто-нибудь может прояснить ситуацию - это действительно какие-то проблемы с
лицензированием? j2sdk? Но Tomcat-то вроде свободный, и его вполне можно было
бы выложить аккуратно как кусок сизифа, пусть все-таки по единой идеологии и
все же из RPM его ставить, а не так откуда-то непонятно как, без привычных
скриптов поднятия демонов и т.п., ручками все конфиги распихивать...
Каков сейчас официально "правильный" вариант установки j2sdk+tomcat на
дистрибутивы ALTLinux?
