Что 701, что 711 - одна петрушка. Это пользователь, если он действительно
параноик, поставить себе umask=077, отменить на все каталоги и файлы (кроме
public_html и ее подкаталогов) все права для группы и других пользователей. А
иначе можно преспокойно погулять по каталогам и файлам (самый ломовой способ
- полезть в /etc/skel/, там разнюхать обычные названия каталогов и файлов,
посмотреть, что у себя твориться и напрямую читать файлы командой типа
'cat имя_файла >куда_то').
