У меня SCSI-контроллер AVA-2903 (на чипсете AIC-7850),
без BIOS. К нему подключен сканер через внешний DB-25.
В Win всё работает.
При modprobe aic7xxx
пишет в логи Unexpected busfree idle раз 20
и в /proc/scsi не появляется ничего о контроллера.
Если отключить кабель,
то в логи летит тысячекратное
Someone reset channel A
Останавливается это только перезагрузкой.
Облазил весь инет в поисках, был на сайте adaptec, в рассылках по ядру.
Встречались подобные вопросы, но без решения :)
У меня три подозреваемых:
1. Кто-то где-то сказал, что это от отсутствия терминатора. Дескать Win
чтобы работало, понижает скорость, и все пашет, а здесь никто не понижает,
потому проблемы.
2. Опять же пролетало, что надо обновить firmware. Не уверен, что это
возможно.
3. карта на одном прерывании с ACPI.
Может дело в чём-то таком простом.
У меня действительно два разъема на сканере, в один я втыкаю кабель
от компьютера, а во второй может нужен терминатор?
P.S. последняя проба была на ядре 2.4.17 с самым последним release модуля
aic7xxx.
