Просит, так и надо ввести. Я делаю su news и ввожу пароль для
пользователя news. Потом временами запускаю fetchnews, когда мне
нужно отправить в конференцию только что написанное сообщение или
принять новые сообщения. Этот Х-терминал для пользователя news
так и висит у меня постоянно. Можно это делать и в любой консоли
(второй, третьей), как кому удобнее. Я же для чтения почты и
новостей использую stuphead, поэтому мало смысла в консоль
переключаться. Никакую автоматизацию я не использую, так как не
вижу в ней прока на dial-up. Даже, если часами на линии.
